The annual dinner promises to be an exciting and entertaining testimony to the growth of Scottish interest in this region. The Robert Burns Dinner proudly welcomes close to 400 Scots from across the Southeast, most of whom attend in full Scottish regalia.

In order to further the traditions of our Scottish heritage, the Society will provide an annual scholarship through the Heritage Fund to an applicant or group of applicants who are current member(s) or family of current member(s). The dollar amount of the scholarship will depend upon our available funds, and the number of applicants to be considered. To be considered for a scholarship, applicants must be involved in furthering their education in some form of Scottish studies, or must be involved in learning piping, drumming, highland dancing, or Scottish country dancing. Upon receipt of your application, you will be provided with the remaining requirements for you to be considered. Deadline for your application is January 15, 2012.
The RBSM Board will carefully consider all applications, and those that are felt most deserving will be announced at the next annual dinner which falls on January 28th, 2012. Scholarship funds will be made available by March, 2012.
